Rental Agreement

  1. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of reservation unless booking online. Online bookings are paid in full at the time of reservation. If the date of your rental reservation needs to be changed for any reason, please notify Glam Event Rental as soon as possible. You may reschedule your reservation to another date no more than 3 months from the original date for a fee of 10% of your total. The rescheduling fee would be due at the time you request the date change. Date may only be changed twice (given that either date is still within 3 months of the original reservation), otherwise the non-refundable deposit is forfeited, and a new reservation and deposit must be made.

  2. Full payment is due three days prior to the date of your event. If full payment is not received by due date, the reservation will be cancelled. Cancellations that are made within three days of your event will not be refunded.

  3. All rentals are one-day rentals and are detailed as follows: Items can be picked up the day of your event during business hours and must be returned the following day between the hours of 9am-12pm Mon- Sat and Sun 8am-12pm. If your return date falls on a holiday or otherwise closed day, your return is due the following business day. If items are returned late, you would be responsible for paying an additional day of rental for each day items are out. If Glam Event Rental is picking up your return items from your event location, all items need to be packed and ready for pick up by 8am. We will notify you when we are on our way to pick up your rented items.

  4. All deliveries will be scheduled with a one-hour window. We will notify you when someone is on their way to deliver your items. A point of contact person must be available for us to gain entry and to instruct on placement/ setup. We will not leave items unattended so if we are unable to gain access to event space, the reservation is cancelled, no refund will be given, and a new reservation with full payment would be needed. However, it is never our desire to do this, so every effort will be made on our part to get in contact with you or the contact person to ensure this does not happen. 

  5. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we ask that all persons of contact wear a mask at the time of drop offs/pickups unless outdoors. Our staff will also be wearing a mask.

  6. In the case of lost, damaged or soiled items, there will be additional charges due and you will be provided with a second invoice via email within five business days of your return which will be due upon receipt.

  7. Loss of or damage to rented items will be the responsibility of the renter. Renter will be responsible for the cost to replace or repair any lost or damaged items.

  8. All items must be returned cleaned and free of excess dirt. If items are returned dirty, renter will be charged an additional $50 cleaning fee. If any item needs to be professionally cleaned, renter would be responsible for third party’s cleaning fee.

  9. The renter takes full responsibility for any damage to personal or public property or personal injury caused by using rented items to the renter or any third party. Glam Event Rental holds no liability and the renter assumes all risk.

  10. Glam Event Rental does not offer any direct or third-party insurance to the renter of any rented items. If the renter would like to have insurance coverage on rented items, it is the responsibility of the renter to obtain it.

  11. Glam Event Rental cannot guarantee that all rentals will be totally free of defects. There may be some minor defects from previous rentals. If you notice any major defects, please bring it to our attention as soon as the defect is noticed so that we can make appropriate arrangements.

  12. No personal checks accepted. Payment may be made via credit or debit card, PayPal, or any payment app that Glam Event Rental agrees to.
